Whitney became a member in 2020, and is the Vice-President for the unit.  She previously owned German Shepherds and loves the breed.  After seeing working dogs in action, she knew she wanted to help serve her community in a different way that included her love of Shepherds.  Whitney is certified NASAR SAR Tech II.

K-9 Java is a very energetic German Shepherd with Czech lines. She is eager to please and uses her nose more than anything to figure things out. We have no doubt she will succeed in SAR and is certified for HRD. 

K-9 Jethro was a purebred German Shepherd from a breeder in Wisconsin with West German and Czech lines. He started in SAR along with Whitney in 2020, and was tragically lost in 2022.   Jethro was certified for Human Remains Detection.
