K-9 Zayda

Melissa joined CLSAR in 2022 and is currently our Secretary. She has served as a lifeguard, taught swimming lessons, and was a first responder for her community. In addition over the years, she has trained both horses and dogs. Melissa is involved in social work, as well as training service dogs. Joining Search and Rescue will help fulfill her desire to help and serve the community, whereever the need arises. She is certified NASAR SAR Tech II.
K-9 Zayda is a purebred working-line German Shepherd born in August 2020. Through K-9 Cognition testing, Melissa discovered a way to channel Zayda's abilities through Search and Rescue. She is certified for Tracking. |
