Karla, a long time member of CLSAR, and is mission ready Field Support with a NASAR SAR Tech II certification, and Type III Incident Command. Karla is also a First Responder for her community, as well as a NASAR Canine SARTECH II - Area Search evaluator.
Ranger, a Yellow Labrador, is methodical and works to please. Karla started her "next generation" SAR dog in 2015 with K-9 Nahanni, a fun-filled Yellow Labrador who is in training for Area Search and HRD. Gussie, a Yellow Labrador, served from 2008, responding to many searches before her retirement in 2016. She is still an energetic dog with a mind of her own, and still participates in training and unit events.
