Sharolyn joined CLSAR in 2003 and currently serves as CLSAR's Treasurer. Sharolyn is a graduate of the National Inland Search and Rescue Planning School, NASAR SAR Tech II certified, Type III Incident Command, and is a certified MN Emergency Manager. In her free time she is a K-9 Evaluator, as well as an instructor for Search Management, K-9 SAR, SAR Response, First Aid / CPR / AED, Wilderness First Aid, and Pet First Aid/CPR.
K-9 Levia arrived in 2014 as a donation, and retired in 2023. During her time of service, she responded to many missing person searches and assisted in helping bring home the missing. Ariel served for many years to help find missing people, and was awarded the MN Veterinary Medical Association's Professional Animal of the Year for 2013. Ari was lost to us in 2014. Gus, a mixed breed, was lost in January 2011. Gus responded to many searches during his time as a SAR dog. Jael was lost in November, 2017 due to an injury sustained during a search. She had a confirmed find on one of her last searches. Rafah was a Shepherd rescue who served until April of 2020. |
