Sharolyn is an Engineering Coordinator and joined CLSAR in 2003. She currently serves as CLSAR's President. Her German Shepherd Ariel is mission ready Water Recovery, having retired from his air scent discipline. Jael, a German Shepherd donated to Sharolyn, is certified for Land and Water Cadaver with NAPWDA as well as USAR with NSSDN. Sharolyn lost Gus in January 2011, her mixed breed who was also certified in Land and Water Cadaver. Sharolyn is mission ready Field Support, Type III Incident Command and has taken ICS-300 and 400 courses. In her free time she is a First Responder for her local community, an Evaluator for NSSDN, the Northern States Search Dog Network, and provides presentations on K-9 SAR and search management. Sharolyn also trained as a NFPA Cold Water Rescue. |
